As our firm’s CEO and Senior Principal, Albert leads our directors and staff within and without Citadel Capital. He is our figurehead, pride and our clients’ first stop for service delivery, quality wealth creation and market innovation. Albert has been involved in the following fund management, investment advisory, fund-related work to date:

  • Sprout Capital Investments Fund (AuM ≈ UGX1 billion) – Investment advisory;
  • Independent Publications Staff Savings Scheme (AuM ≈ UGX340 million) – Strategic planning;
  • Raising Voices Staff Provident Fund (AuM ≈ UGX480 million) – Investment advisory.
  • Centenary Bank Pension Fund (AuM ≈ UGX75 billion) – Statutory audit;
  • Stanbic Bank Staff Pension Fund (AuM ≈ UGX54 billion) – Statutory audit;
  • Century Bottling Staff Savings Scheme (AuM ≈ UGX4 billion) – Statutory audit; and
  • BPI Fund Uganda (AuM ≈ UGX36 billion) – Tax advisory.
  • Albert has recently been appointed as the Risk, Audit and Financial Management advisor to the National Social Security Fund (“NSSF”), (the largest retirement benefits scheme in Uganda), Board of Directors.

Albert, a former Senior Manager for Strategy with Standard Bank Africa, is an astute and analytical financial advisor. Spanning from PwC and KPMG, his twenty-six (26) years of audit, accounting and consulting experience is not only solid but robust and it is enriched by his deep skills in information systems, project and risk management. Albert is a typical banking specialist that has been bolstered by his eleven (11) years hands-on working experience with Stanbic Bank Uganda and Standard Bank Africa that includes US$300 million of Core Banking system implementations he has led. Being a PRINCE2 certified practitioner, Albert possesses extreme project management and control skills that apply to the delivery of ground-breaking services to clients. He is also an accomplished Risk Management Professional.

Having attained a First-Class degree in Accounting at Makerere University and lecturing there, Albert’s prowess in Accounting allows him to lead our technical and quality assurance initiatives, internal and external. Albert is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Uganda Bankers.
